Woodlawn hunting club is governed by a board of (6) people. It includes the club president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. It also includes a club member representative and a land owner representative.
It is the goal of the board members to provide a consistent level of leadership and up hold the management goals and rules of the club. Having a board run the club provides a stable environment where there is an ongoing stability of the membership.
In order to provide a great hunting experience for its members, the board tries to limit the membership to a level that is suitable for the land that we have to hunt on. At the current time, the "target" number of members is 35 full members and 10 social members. This number may increase over time if we are able to add quality acreage to our existing land.
The annual dues for a full membership is $1250.00 per year and the dues for a social membership is $300.00 per year ( social memberships allow the use of the club house as well as fishing and small game rights). There is an additional one time charge of $100 for new members.
Our fiscal year runs from April 1st to March 31st. Each member is required to complete (3) work days during this period to help maintain the club and hunting trails.
